About Me

Hello, I am Tanjim Taharat Aurpa, a Lecturer in the Department of Data Science and Engineering at University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh.

My research focuses on Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning, with particular expertise in transformer-based architectures. I work at the intersection of AI and language technologies, designing novel approaches for mathematical entity recognition, question answering systems, and sentiment analysis in low-resource languages like Bangla.

I hold both an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University. Throughout my academic journey, I have been honored with several prestigious awards including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Direct Gold), National Science and Technology Fellowship, and multiple research grants from the University Grants Commission.

With 21 publications including 11 journal articles and 8 Q1 papers, I maintain an active research profile with citations of 356, H-index of 7, and i10-index of 4. My work spans multiple domains including mathematical entity recognition, abusive content detection, sentiment analysis, and question answering systems.
